Zimmer in The Lab NYC

The Parisian talent stops off in Brooklyn for an intimate DJ set

The Lab NYC is Mixmag and WAV's weekly live stream and post-work unwind, powered by Void Acoustics, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our Brooklyn office. This Friday, October 19, we welcome in Zimmer to perform a captivating DJ set showcasing his distinctly dreamy and melodic house sound.

Rising Parisian DJ and producer Zimmer has fast become one of the most exciting talents coming out of France. He's released original material via labels including Discotexas and Roche Musique, while he's also established himself as an in-demand remixer, flipping tracks by MØ, Moullinex, Gallant, Moon Boots, Wunder Wunder, Brooke Fraser and Vallis Apls. During the past 18 months, Zimmer’s been experimenting and writing new music that will present an evolution of his sound. His most recent release, titled 'Landing,' is the first track to emerge from these sessions and is also an introduction to new material as Zimmer prepares to release his first full-length album in the near future.

Additionally, Zimmer’s debut North American tour has been in full swing this fall, including headlining performances at New York’s Rough Trade, Los Angeles, Moroccan Lounge, D.C.’s Union Stage, Boston’s Great Scott, Chicago’s Eastroom and more. His set in The Lab NYC comes at the perfect time for Zimmer, who continues to astonish with a growing catalogue of beautiful music.
