Newcastle-based collective Zeytoun is set to hold its Cultural Festival For Palestine at World Headquarters this month.

With all proceeds from ticket sales going to Doctors Without Borders/MSF and the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF), the Cultural Festival for Palestine will take place over the course of an evening and night at the Newcastle nightclub on November 29.

The first part of the event, titled Zeytoun Presents: Two Years On, will feature a panel discussion, live music and spoken word performances, as well as Palestinian food from Nour, running from 5:30PM until 9:30PM.

The second half of the festival will be a club night, WHQ x Zeytoun Dance For Palestine, featuring sets from Ahadadream, Mr. Scruff, Santa Leticia and a live set from Omar & Bas, running from 10:PM until 4:AM.

Zeytoun's Cultural Festival for Palestine will take place two years on from the collective's first event. In a statement shared via Instagram, founder Omar Disku said: "This work is deeply personal; born to a Palestinian family, many of whom's lives and homes have been destroyed, Zeytoun was founded as a way to transform grief into something collective."

"A space to create, remember, and learn for the future. As the people of Palestine continue, even now, to endure relentless bombardment, hunger, and displacement, this night stands as both a celebration of culture and an act of resistance.”

Zeytoun's Cultural Festival for Palestine will kick off at 5:30PM on November 29, while the accompanying club night starts at 10:PM. You can buy a ticket here.
