American-based producer Wheez-ie, aka Matt Mauldin, has announced a remix EP of his October 2021 release ‘Horizons’.
The remix EP gathers artists who share Mauldin’s ‘singular, 90s-referential rave visions’: namely Mixmag cover star VTSS, Tim Reaper, DJ Stingray 313, Aura T-09 and Cardopusher.

London’s Tim Reaper reworks title track ‘Horizons’, a breakbeat track with cinematic and gothic tones. It cuts up the original track’s melancholic synths to involve more classic jungle subs.
Detroit-based DJ Stingray 313 shifts techno original ‘Anon’ to a 139bpm industrial electro cut, whilst Aura T-09 and Cardopusher remixes trance tune ‘Pressure’ with hacked breakbeats and stabs of synth.
Mixmag cover star VTSS strips back ‘Shut The Door’ to a fierce and relentless industrial 4/4 techno beat.
