Watch a short film about Amsterdam's Red Light Radio

The documentary follows the team behind Red Light Radio and Red Light Records in Amsterdam

Dekmantel and Grolsch have teamed up to release a series of videos called ‘Selectors’ which spotlight music enthusiasts around the world. This documentary explores the behind-the-scenes action at partners Red Light Radio and Red Light Records and how each started out in the underground Dutch music scene.

The Co-owner of Red Light Records Tako Reyenga says: “I think the knowledge comes from years and years of digging. You build up your database. You just have to do a lot of digging. Get dusty and on your knees”.

Red Light Radio co-founder Orpheu de Jong says: “The enthusiasms for all this music is not something that fades - I think maybe it even gets more over the years, you discover more and there are always new doors to open and see or hear new stuff”.

The clip was shot ahead of Dekmantel festival in Amsterdam this August and Croatia’s Dekmantel Selectors in September, where the featured ‘Selectors’ will perform.
