Watch a clip from the new Daft Punk documentary

It features footage from the duo's Coachella set in 2006

US TV network Showtime premiered Daft Punk Unchained last night and those who are yet to see it can watch a short preview of it.

The snippet revolves around their Coachella set from 2006, alongside interviews with ex-manager Pedro Winter and critic Michaelangelo Matos who discuss the cultural impact of the awe-inspiring set.

Matos says: "No one had seen anything like that. They were at a completely higher level in terms of production than everybody."

The Hervé Martin Delpierre-directed documentary charts the history of the French duo, from the early days right up to their success at the Grammy Awards in 2014. Pete Tong and Kanye West are among the others interviewed.
