A warning about orange ‘Tesla’ pills has been issued

Drug-testing group The Loop warns users to "take care" as pills contain 240mg of MDMA

Drug safety non-profit organisation The Loop has warned that the orange ‘Tesla’ pill contains a high MDMA content of 240mg of MDMA per pill.

The tablets are orange in colour with the Tesla Motors shield logo on the front. They also glow under a black light.

The pills were tested by Safer Party in Zurich this summer and the results are now being shared across social media to enhance drug safety awareness.

On Twitter The Loop warns drug-takers: "High strength Orange Teslas tested by The Loop at UK festivals & Safer Party in Zurich - c.240mg MDMA - take care".

Earlier in August, London club Fabric was forced to close its doors, following the recent deaths of two 18 year-old men from drug overdoses, which has further raised awareness about recreational drug-use.

At Mixmag, we have launched the ‘don’t be daft, start with a half’ campaign to promote safe drug use, in association with the Global Drugs Survey. If you are going to use pills, stay safe and take small doses. If you don't feel any affect, wait a couple hours before doing more.

You can find out more about our campaign here and look up a user's resource of pills currently in circulation here.
