Vinyl library with over 10,000 records opens in Seoul
Credit card company HyundaiCard open enormous collection in South Korean capital
As the vinyl revolution grows stronger and stronger, the Korean capital of Seoul has been treated to a massive public library of records courtesy of the HyundaiCard credit card company.
Located in the Hannam-dong area of Seoul, the beautiful building contains over 10,000 records which are available for the public to play, and it is also said to have every single copy of Rolling Stone published since 1967. The library also houses a live space which is set to host rock shows, and (we hope!) some filthy techno nights.
The city of Seoul is known for its many little vinyl-only bars tucked away in its head-spinning labyrinth of side streets, and with the Far East being home to a significant number of limited edition releases you'd hope that this library has some cracking finds in it.
