Unsound launches ‘Dislocation’ for 2016 and 2017

A themed investigation fueled by cultural development

Unsound has announced its ‘Dislocation’ initiative for 2016 and 2017.

The Polish festival has launched what they call an “anchor for Unsound Krakow's programming across commissioned projects, music, talks and more.” Dislocation intends to extend into the international scope of the festival by calling for co-curators that will “provide unique possibilities for commissioned works related to the specificity of location, presented in each city.” Anyone is able to submit a one-page outline of their prospective idea, which will be taken on tour and presented in Krakow and other Unsound events over 2016 and 2017.

Unsound: Dislocaton in Krakow will take place October 16 - 23, and the deadline for submission is May 1.
