Underworld are headlining Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum this month

A special live set on October 20

Underworld are playing a special headline show during the Amsterdam Dance Event, taking over the Rijksmuseum.

Members Karl Hyde and Rick Smith will be in the building's Bicycle Passage room, playing live as part of a Audio Obscura x Rijksmuseum showcase.

The press releases reads: "Following on from last year’s ADE event in the same space, the show provides a platform for the museum to engage with new and exciting audiences, enabled by Audio Obscura’s mission of bringing dance music artists to historic and cultural venues."

Underworld will also be talking at ADE, exploring "the importance and power of partnership and co-production in the development and presentation of projects grand and intimate in the 21st century."

The Rijksmuseum event will be ticket-less, with those wanting to go able to apply in groups of two to four. You can register here before registration closes on October 17.

Check out the gallery above to see the venue they'll be performing in.

Underworld also feature in our best techno albums of the '90s list.
