Underground Resistance teams up with Carhartt WIP on new clothing line
All black from head to toe
With its headquarters located just outside of Detroit, jacket company Carhartt is always keen to show off its Motor City roots. Having previously collaborated on a clothing line with Kenny Dixon Jr. (aka Moodyman), Carhartt has now announced its latest alliance with the legendary music collective and movement, Underground Resistance (UR).
The Capsule Collection by Underground Resistance x Carhartt WIP is set to appear in select Carhartt stores and will be available for purchase online on November 17.
In an effort to capture the working spirit of Detroit, the clothing line is described as “Hi-Tech garments for the future of work” that is practical for “all circumstances of life”.
The collection will include a beanie, siberian parka, pocket t-shirt, simple pant and a car-lux hooded jacket.
A number of essential Berlin influencers including Modeselektor, Viola Glock and Tresor's founder Dimitri Hegman showed off the new gear for i-D and explained what Underground Resistance means to them. Check out the gallery above.
