UK police allow 1000-person rave to continue
Are the fuzz going soft?!
What's going on in the UK this month?
Last week we reported on a central London rave that went for 36 hours without police intervention.
Now we've found out about a peaceful, 1000-person free party in Northamptonshire that apparently took place on a disused airfield and was allowed to continue by the cops.
Local fuzz arrived at the rave, located near King's Cliffe, at 1am on a Sunday morning earlier this month but didn't arrest anyone or try to break the party up. It came to a conclusion at some point on the Sunday afternoon, with everyone presumably returning home happy with a hard rave's night.
It's reported that the police were calling the party "very isolated". Their relaxed attitude is in total contrast to the East Anglian force found themselves in the midst of a small-scale riot at a rave earlier this year.
