Uber has appealed against its licence being revoked in London
A hearing is expected to take place on December 11
Uber has appealed the decision to revoke its licence for operating in London.
Transport for London (TfL) announced it would not be renewing the company's licence last month, but the San Francisco transportation service has now filed its appeal to Westminster Magistrates' Court.
The Financial Times reports that an Uber representative stated the appeal had been submitted while "constructive discussions" with TfL continue. Uber plans to put forward further reasons for its appeal before a planned hearing on December 11.
TfL's decision to not renew the license was based on Uber not being "fit and proper" to operate in London and having a "lack of responsibility".
