Two Shell unveil new video for ‘ghost2’
The hyperpop track made its first appearance on the elusive duo's surprise EP 'lil spirits' in February
Mysterious duo Two Shell have just unveiled the music video for ‘ghost2’ — released via Mainframe Audio .
The track made its first official appearance as part of their surprise ‘lil spirits’ EP in February of this year, first revealed as a five-tracker through imprint Mainframe Audio, with accompanying videos for two more EP featured tracks - ‘love him’ and ‘mum is calling’.
Fans may also be able to recognize the song from the duo’s 2022 Boiler Room set at Barcelona’s Primavera Festival, their eternalseed mixtape, or their Friday guest mix for BBC Radio 6’s Mary Anne Hobbs.

The song explores feelings of invisibility, emptiness and loneliness, with the music video beginning by depicting an isolated character floating through a sea of Instagram home pages and facetime call screens in space.
After the hook, more cybercore-alien looking characters intermingle with warped, color altered static clips of the duo performing live sets and other behind-the-scenes clips. The video comes to a head with a shot of the original, big eyes character on a flashing Macbook Screen in a dark room.
The newly released music video marks the end of the duo’s ‘lil spirit’s’ era, but introduces the virtual world of shell.tech, a website allowing fans to connect with the duo via the chatbox creature chrysalis.
