TQD show us authentic ‘UKG’ with debut album

The holy trinity of UK bass music are back

TQD is the side project of UK producers Royal T, DJ Q and Flava D, who have been tearing up the decks as bass music’s most esteemed crew for the past few years.

After a string of releases such as ‘Day & Night’, their full length LP ‘UKG’ has arrived in the shape of 10 hard-hitting face-melters.

In ‘UKG’, TQD pave the way with a smooth, nu-skool and bass-driven garage sound that also pays homage to classic ‘UKG’ styles of the 90s/00s, as seen in ‘A Letter To EZ’ – a track named after garage legend, DJ EZ.

The album also features collaborations with P Money who lays down additional bars on ‘Ghosts’, UK producer Swindle and Butterz label boss, Skilliam on 'New Day', as well as photographer Vicky Grout whose vocals were used in 'Intro 4'.
