TomorrowWorld says it's "heartbroken" in apology about festival problems

Refunds are being offered to those who couldn't get in on Sunday

TomorrowWorld has issued a statement after festival-goers not accommodated on-site were not allowed in on the final day, also being stranded outside the festival site on Saturday night with the shuttle buses cancelled.

Heavy rainfall is said to have caused the Atlanta festival's problems, forcing roads, car parks and drop-off points to close, leading to a number of images being posted on social media and outrage from those affected.

Now the festival has apologised on Facebook, offering a means of communication and refunds.

TomorrowWorld is owned by SFX Entertainment, Robert Sillerman's company that recently had to delay Beaport payments, and the disruption at the weekend has caused its shares to drop by 12.5 per cent. Not the best of news considering investors had been launching legal action over reportedly being mislead about Sillerman's finances.
