Tomorrowland format remains unclear as festival prepares to start tomorrow
Following a blaze that destroyed the Belgian festival's main stage yesterday, Tomorrowland has said it has "two options" with which to open
The format with which Tomorrowland will operate tomorrow remains unclear after the festival's main stage was destroyed in a blaze on Wednesday (July 16).
In a statement shared on its website, Tomorrowland confirmed that there are currently "two scenarios" of how it will begin tomorrow, with thousands of visitors expected to arrive to the site in Boom, Belgium from 12:PM (CEST) tomorrow.

The festival confirmed that it is currently working to build a new main stage, which if "secured and a new setup completed" Tomorrowland will open as planned tomorrow — which is scenario one.
However scenario two, would see Friday's main stage acts - which include Swedish House Mafia, Kaskade, John Summit, Armin van Buuren and more - perform at a stage within Tomorrowland's Dreamville campsite.

The festival confirmed that in scenario two, camping guests would not be able to access the main festival site, while general attendees would not be able to access Dreamville.
Tomorrowland added that this would only be the format on Friday, with Saturday's programming expected to resume as usual; however, confirmation on if the team have been successful in building the new main stage and enacting scenario one, will not be available until tomorrow morning — just hours before the gates are due to open.
In both scenarios, doors will open at 2:PM, not 12:PM as planned.
