Time Warp US under threat from local residents
The two-day event in Brooklyn is due to take place this month
Time Warp US, held in Brooklyn, New York, is coming under fire from local residents in the Crown Heights area.
Due to take place on November 21 - 22, the prolific festival has been the subject of complaints and Walter Mosley, the representative of the 57th district of the New York State Assembly has criticised the event for even going ahead in a residential area.
Locals are concerned about the lack of parking and likelihood of intoxicated party-goers over the weekend Time Warp will take place.
Although it seems the event is under a lot of pressure, Time Warp has commented, saying: "All procedures thus far have been properly handled. We are underway for a seamless event at Bedford Union Armory,".
This is despite reports that the event will in fact be cancelled and that the status is under review.
