Following meetings with London's urban artists and promoters, London Mayor Sadiq Khan has ordered for the Metropolitan Police to review the contentious 696 Form, which has been suppressing London’s black music and grime artists in recent years.

To celebrate the hearing, Timberland teamed up with Rinse FM to showcase some of the UK’s most renowned grime, hip hop and bass artists including Youngs Teflon, Capo Lee, Shy FX, Siobhan Bell and Peckham artist Giggs outside the Mayors Office to an energetic crowd last Friday night.

Giggs has been crippled by the form that’s forced him to cancel London shows and tours since 2010. In a recent statement, Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, commented that the form “shouldn’t compromise the capital’s vibrant grassroots music industry or unfairly target one community or music genre” and his team attended the event.
