This app lets you produce tunes with facial movements
Interesting...
A new app has been developed that allows users to play music by using eye movements and facial gestures.
This app, Eye Conductor, will allow people with physical disabilities to play and produce music, using a normal webcam along with an eye tracker. It transforms eye and facial movements into drum beats and musical notes.
So, opening your mouth can add delay or reverb to a note, and raising an eyebrow can change the octave of a note.
Although Eye Conductor is still in prototype mode, lead developer Andreas Refsgaard hopes this technology will progress and one day even be used as a tool for digital production, containing a wide range of audio clips, effects and the ability to export tracks.
Check out a video below. Pretty cool, eh?
