These cocaine adverts from the 70s are outrageous

They don't make 'em like they used to

Ahhh the 70s.

Led Zeppelin, The Godfather, turtle necks and Richard Nixon.

Then there was the rampant cocaine use, as evidenced by these outrageous press ads for chiz paraphernalia.

Inspired by TV series Narcos, the internet (read: innumerable users seeking lulz) has rummaged through the annals of time in order to bring these stellar images back to life.

The 70s was obviously a time when hip young things were blasting through enough devil's dandruff to warrant an array of snorties in a range of shapes and sizes (our favourite is 'The Hooter').

Though the adverts look like works of satire, they do indeed seem to be legit. We'll say it again: ahhh the 70s.
