The xx tease a curious preview of potential new material
Surfacing on the trio's Spotify playlist
Following the announcement of an upcoming tour and album, The xx have added an intriguing track to their Spotify playlist, likely to be a preview of new work.
The playlist, labeled as music the trio has been listening to while hard at work in the studio, previously featured productions by Radiohead, Solange and Frank Ocean. The new 55-second piece has no artist credit or details, but sounds extremely similar to The xx's signature sound.
