The trailer for Blade Runner 2049 is here

Watch the first visuals from the 1982 follow-up

The trailer for the Ridley Scott-produced Blade Runner sequel has finally been revealed.

With Ryan Gosling in the starring role for Blade Runner 2049, the trailer features the actor walking through a dystopian location and walking into a building where he meets a nervous looking Rick Deckard, played by Harrison Ford, a star of the original film.

Along with the trailer, Scott and director Denis Villeneuve have also shared the film’s synopsis: “Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.”

Along with Gosling and Ford, Blade Runner 2049 also stars Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto.

Watch the trailer below and look for the film to be released on October 6, 2017.
