The next People Just Do Nothing series will be the last

It’s “coming soon” and will air on the BBC

People Just Do Nothing will return for a final series, which will air on BBC Two for the first time.

The two-time BAFTA and RTSA award-winning mockumentary, which follows the crew and manager running a pirate radio station called Kurupt FM in West London, premiered in 2012.

Until this fifth and final series, the show has been broadcast on BBC Three, but now makes the step up to BBC Two for the television broadcast, and will be available to watch back on BBC Three online.

There’s trouble afoot for the main characters in series five. The station’s equipment has been confiscated and DJ Steves is in police custody, MC Grindah faces losing his family home to luxury flat developments, and Chabuddy G is in deep with an insatiable new girlfriend and full-time job.

Last year the crew, who also tour live at Kurupt FM, released their debut mixtape ‘The Lost Tape’ via XL Recordings. Their summer live schedule is looking busy, with dates at Field Day, Creamfields and more locked in.
