Meet the music producers of Stranger Things' electronic side project

S U R V I V E is eerie and retro

Netflix's new original series Stranger Things has quickly become one of the most captivating programs to hit the masses. The show's eerie narrative follows the case of a missing boy and pays homage to the cult-following of 80s sci-fi culture. Most notably, viewers have been appreciating the series' powerful retro-electronic soundtrack.

The music producers behind the show's synth-heavy, haunting audio programming are Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein. Besides lending their talents to the new hit show, they also have an equally impressive electronic side project called S U R V I V E.

S U R V I V E's style reflects mysterious, almost ghostly motifs, with a spacious era-inspired sound full of depth and darkness. Some works are more upbeat, while others feel like an entity floating into obscurity.
