The Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art will host an international Leonard Cohen exhibit
Celebrating an icon's legacy
Le Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, or the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art, has just announced an extensive 123-day international exhibit devoted to the late Leonard Cohen.
The presentation will be the first full exhibition completely dedicated to the legendary artist, who passed away last year. Leonard Cohen - Une bréche en toute chose / A Crack In Everything will open on November 9 2017 and run until April of 2018.
Known as a poet, author, singer and songwriter, Cohen remains one of the most enigmatic and iconic figures in modern culture and authorized the exhibit himself before passing.
Featuring 18 new works with 40 artists confirmed including Moby, Lou Doillon and Julia Holter, the show will present pieces from 13 visual artists, seven filmmakers and 20 musicians. A series of concerts will also run in parallel with the showing dates.
