The Lab is our weekly office rave up powered by Void Acoustics where we live stream some of the biggest and best names in dance music from genres across the board. Taking control of the club in the corner of our office this week is The Magician.
Once one half of the Balearic disco duo Aeroplane, since going solo The Magician has becoming a remix master providing his signature touch to artists such as Clean Bandit, ZHU and Lykke Li. His monthly mixes on his SoundCloud page 'Magictapes' continue to pick up thousands of plays every month due to their on-point balance of house, disco and electro.
More recently he's returned to the airwaves and dancefloors across the globe with his latest release 'Sunlight.' Released on September 28 on The Magician's own label Polton, it's a track that epitomises what The Magician is all about and you can check it out here.
This week's Lab kicks off at 4.30pm BST and you can tune in either below or on MixmagTV.
This Friday The Magician has curated his own line-up with The Hydra and plays alongside the likes of Karma Kid, Blonde and TCTS at London's Studio Spaces. Tickets can be found here
