Moving Hands (Helena Hauff Remix)

Back in February, The Vinyl Factory released ‘So Low’, a compilation curated by JD Twitch, of Optimo fame, that comprised of unearthed 80’s gems and industrial classics with enough synths to make Giorgio Moroder blush.

The comp was an absolute treat for anyone who wanted slo-mo grooves draped in nostalgia but now it’s time to focus on the present and we’ve got two new remixes of tracks taken from the album.

Powell did the business on ‘49 Second Romance’ but here we concentrate on Helena Hauff’s rework ‘Moving Hands’ and she’s only gone and done it again. Everything that Hauff touches seemingly turns to gold and her electro tendencies are unmistakably her own.

Her razor-sharp remix is a blistering and savage cut, one with a jagged synths, frantic 8-bit tones and killer drums. It’s feisty and unreserved and that’s exactly why we like it.
