The Juan Maclean unleashes ‘The Brighter Side’ with remixes from DJ Tennis and Octo Octa

The new release dropped today via DFA Records

One of New York’s finest house music heroes The Juan Maclean has released a fiery new single titled ‘The Brighter Side’ with remixes from DJ Tennis, Len Leise and Octo Octa via DFA Records.

As detailed in the artist’s Bandcamp description, the track came to light after Juan hit the studio. He has been “waiting (somewhat) patiently” for his co-producer and partner in crime Nancy Whang to venture back to NYC once she is done touring with “her ‘side gig,’ LCD Soundsystem”.

Piloted by deep, classic-house keys and showered with savory pads, the club-ready track is the “smallest glimpse into what is to come” for his forthcoming LP. From the Balearic vibes of Len Leise’s interpretation to the gradual bounce of Octo Octa’s, each remix brings its own dreamy vivacity to the dance floor.
