The Electronic Music Awards to host a 'Detroit Dock' with Juan Atkins, Delano Smith, Robert Hood
Performances from the city's icons will ensue
It wouldn't be right to host something titled the Electronic Music Awards without paying proper homage to Detroit techno and its founders - and producer Paul Oakenfold knows it.
The EM Awards have announced 'The Detroit Dock', an entire arena of the awards show meant to celebrate and showcase the legends that helped to pioneer electronic music as we know it today. Performances from Detroit legend himself Juan Atkins, Delano Smith, Robert Hood as Floorplan and The Saunderson Brothers will be hosted in the arena on September 21.
The awards show will be broadcasted live on Twitter and also on Sirius XM Radio. Find a list of nominees and categories here.
