Electric Daisy Carnival is a dizzying spectacle. It presented 400,000 visitors with eight stages, a fragmented fun-fair, bizarre art installations, epic fireworks, and flame turrets, all throbbing for three nights under the electric sky.

The festival itself is widely recognized to be among the best productions in the world, with promoters Insomniac pouring every trick they have onto the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a venue typically used for the more conservative pastime of NASCAR. With such a well-formed post-rave aesthetic populated by an enormous army of sparkly kandi kids, EDC looks and feels like nothing else.
