Adana Twins in The Lab NYC
Brooklyn receives the duo ahead of their Mission To Mars event
The Lab NYC is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly afterwork party where we stream the best American and international DJs from the intimate space connected to our Brooklyn office. For this installment we had German duo the Adana Twins satisfying our thirst for some out-of-this-world house vibes.
The Hamburg pair debuted in 2006 and grew in fame thanks to their extended, eclectic 10-hour sets. Their most recent release, the 'Perspective' EP with Human Life, featured deeply soothing, tactile works and remixes by Fort Romeau and GoldFFinch.
The Adana Twins headed into space with their Mission to Mars event, hosted by Chromed and Jukely Sound Projects. In the growing interest of multifaceted experiences, the entire party was designed as a three-dimensional, visually mapped journey to Mars plotted in cohesion with the Adana Twins' sound.
On opening duties, we welcomed Brooklyn's own Jefferson909. As one half of Housing Corp and NSR, the two have been known to pop up all around New York City playing some of the best and most high profile events. Jefferson909 also performed alongside the Adana Twins at the Mission To Mars event.
The Lab NYC is strongly powered by Void Acoustics*. Tune into MixmagTV or watch the Adana Twins exclusive set below.*
