Teengirl Fantasy (Lotic remix)
Lotic turns out a pop song for dark corners of the dancefloor
Teengirl Fantasy's 2014 EP 'Thermal' has been given the remix treatment by some of the finest underground producers in the game.
The duo have let two of the EP's four tracks fall into the hands of Lotic, Dinamarca, Joey Anderson and Holly Waxwing. A crew of producers who work across the genre spectrum, they've turned 'Lung' (feat Lafawndah) and 'U Touch Me' (feat Hoody) into exciting new shapes indeed.
We've got the first play of Lotic's remix of 'Lung', in which he lets Lafawndah's vocal soar across a convulsing landscape of boulder-heavy bass bumps and eerie industrial noise. It's exactly what you'd expect from the Berlin-based artist who's signed to Tri Angle and makes out-there party jams that Björk likes moshing to.
