Technimatic

An unstoppable d'n'b boulder from the duo

Technimatic made it into our top 10 albums of 2014 with debut LP 'Desire Paths'. The record had the duo conjure up super fresh drum 'n' bass; tunes varying from pacy, full-on smashers to blissed out vocal lullabies.

Basically, the Shogun Audio pair are destined to put a smile on your face through their use of glittering melodies, party-startying horns (check 'Night Vision') and choice of soulful, almost angelic-like vocalists that have a real soothing effect on the ears.

Album number two, 'Better Perspective', is due on July 15 and this time they add a fiercer, razor-edged element to their work, proving they've got as much ammunition to destroy a dancefloor as they have to soundtrack a summer BBQ.

'Trigger Warning' is one of the most deadly weapons on the album, as you'd probably expect from the title, rumbling, growling and tumbling ferociously with sparse shouts of "uh", "hey" and "hit it". There are brief moments of the oh-so-Technimatic glistening serenity, but this one's an unstoppable d'n'b boulder for the most part.

'Better Perspective' is out via Shogun Audio on July 15. Buy it here or grab the Limited Edtion Collector's Boxset here
