A new dance music venue is opening in Sydney

Terminal 4 will be created by the team behind Beyond The Valley and Pitch Music & Arts

A new electronic music venue named Terminal 4 is opening on the harbour of Balmain, Sydney.

Once the cruise capital of Australia, the terminal at the White Bay Cruise Terminal will be transformed into a pop-up music hub for the summer.

Also known as T4, the venue was formed by Untitled Group which is the same team behind festivals such as, Beyond the Valley, Grapevine Gathering, Pitch Music & Arts, and Melbourne’s electronic music hub Xe54.

With the line-up for summer gigs still on its way Untitled have said to expect “first-class local and international artists.”

The people behind T4 promise it will be an “‘inclusive and progressive space where electronic music is at the forefront. As Sydney enters a significant and welcome rebirth in electronic music,” adding that “Terminal 4 is the multi-sensory experience that music and party enthusiasts have been craving.”

Even though gigs won’t be playing at night, they plan to host some big day parties whilst making the most out of the location with views over to Glebe Island and Port Jackson.
