Swedish House Mafia spark reunion rumors with recent update

EDM supergroup Swedish House Mafia has just updated its profile picture and cover photo on Facebook, which sparked another round of rumors that a reunion gig is coming soon.

Since the group consisting of Axwell, Ingrosso and Steve Angello famously split after their last show in 2013, rumors of a Swedish House Mafia reunion have been popping up annually. Now fans, who have been waiting on bated breath, seem to believe they are closer than ever to witnessing a comeback.

Two years back Axwell appeared on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show and hinted at a reunion: "We think about it every now and then, you know what we left, what we did, what we accomplished and everything, and how it would be to do something together again. But I think, the only thing is that time will tell pretty much. Who knows what happens in the future, we might get a sudden urge for Swedish House Mafia again…who knows!"

With Ultra Music Festival in Miami just three weeks away, it is being speculated that Swedish House Mafia are the special guest performers.

Still no confirmation has been given at this time.
