While fans wait on bated breath for a Swedish House Mafia reunion tour, the EDM supergroup have hinted at an upcoming collaboration with Nike.
Fresh off their comeback performance at Miami's Ultra Music Festival in March, the trio of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso have shared images of what looks to be a collaboration with Nike. In addition to sharing a photo of SHM sneakers, Steve Angello shared a cryptic, high-fashion photo (below) on his Instagram story which also bears three of the iconic Nike symbols lined-up in a row.
The pair of one-off custom Nikes - which were been created by ritzy, celebrity focused company A-Morir Studio - many are starting to speculate that a more extensive collaboration between Nike and the Swedish electronic music trio may very much be in the works.
Created by stylist Andrew Mukamal, Francisco Ragazzi, Kerin Rose Gold and famous designer/DJ Virgil Abloh, the mysterious merchandise includes the fresh pair of hand-painted kicks for the legendary DJ trio also including a reconstructed flight jacket, hand painted and hand screened leather vest and denim jackets.
