Superpoze in The Lab LA
This French talent is bringing his live set-up to DTLA
The Lab Los Angeles is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly post-work unwind where we stream only the finest American and international DJs, live and direct from our Downtown LA office. This Thursday, Superpoze joins us in The Lab LA.
French talent Gabriel Legeleux first made a name for himself in the Caen electro circuit, mastering both live and DJ sets across some of France's top-tier festivals and venues. He's released two EPs and a full-length album in 2015, all on his own label, Combien Mille Records.
In 2017, Superpoze saw the release of his sophomore LP, 'For We The Living', which released in February of this year. Inspired by Legeleux's readings and musings with creative works around natural disasters, the two-part album symbolize the lead up to a disaster and consequential aftermath.
On opening duties we welcome Jonnie King, a Los Angeles producer who finds his sound in the melodic deep house and nu disco realm and regularly plays at festivals around the world like BPM, Lightning in a Bottle, Further Future and more. Find more on Jonnie here.
The Lab LA is strongly powered by Void Acoustics. Subscribe to Mixmag TV and watch Superpoze in The Lab LA on Thursday starting at 8PM PST.
The Smirnoff Sound Collective is all about bringing fans closer to the DJs, providing up and coming talent with a solid platform and throwing unique events where fans and artists can party together. Check out more from the Sound Collective here
