Studio 338 is hoping to reopen in summer next year
Things are in place to start rebuilding the club
Repair work on London club Studio 338 has begun.
The venue caught fire in August, causing a death and forcing it to close, but scaffolding is now up around the venue as it starts work towards its reopening.
Announcing on Facebook with a photo, the club wrote: "They say that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a just single step and today we are delighted to say that we took ours. The scaffold has begun to go up around our beloved venue and the work to repair and re-open has now started.
"We're sure you will be as excited as us with this news. It's taken a lot to get us to this point and although its just a few poles today, what it represents is very significant."
The North Greenwich club says to keep an eye out for updates and hopes it'll be back in summer next year.
It also opened a new venue, The Bridge, in September.
