Stormzy's on a mission to get Christmas number one

The MOBO winner's pushing for 'Shut Up' to hit top spot

Stormzy wants to get to the top of the charts at Christmas with 'Shut Up'.

He's already clocked over 13 million plays on YouTube with his freestyle over Ruff Sqwad's 'Functions On The Low', so what's to say the South London 'Skengman' can't crown a stunning year with a number one?

Currently placed at number 8, he's been pushing it on Twitter, changing his display name to #ShutUpForXmasNo1 and calling out X-Factor as part of his DIY promo.

If you're partial to bet now and then, Coral's offering odds of 6/1 for him to pip X-Factor winner Louisa Johnson (favourite), Skrillex's chum Justin Bieber and the Star Wars theme to the premier spot.

He's our obvious choice, so get buying and streaming. It all counts. Just imagine, in years to come, seeing his name and grime mentioned alongside the likes of Paul McCartney, Slade and Cliff Richard.
