Stormzy to join The X Factor as a judge
The grime artist will work with Nicole Scherzinger in the judges' houses round
Stormzy will be assisting Nicole Scherzinger as a guest judge on talent show The X Factor.
He'll appear during the judges' houses round, held in South Africa, where he'll support Scherzinger in selecting the contestants to take through to the next round.
A source close to the rapper told BBC Newsbeat: “Stormzy is the man of the moment and he’ll be great. He speaks straight from the heart and won’t pull any punches. Simon (Cowell) is looking forward to seeing his onscreen chemistry with Nicole.”
In June, the grime star worked alongside Simon Cowell to produce a charity single for the Grenfell Tower victims. Fans of The X Factor reckons that it was during the production process of the money-raising track that the two sparked up a friendship.
