Stevie Cox announces forthcoming EP, 'Jecht Shot'
Available via Remmah, the record indulges in the melodic side of drum 'n' bass, acid-injected trance and beyond
Stevie Cox has announced her forthcoming EP, 'Jecht Shot', set for release on Northern Irish producer and DJ Hammer's Remmah Records.
Landing on May 10, the record shows her full production capabilities as it follows on from Cox's EP via Optimo Music, 'Expansion EP'. This time, across its three tracks, the opener titular track draws upon flavours of melodic drum 'n' bass, with fine-tuned rhythmic sensibilities.

Moving on, 'Midnight With DC' takes the reigns, with a trance-infused, cosmic cut. Lashings of acid are added to the affair, before Canada-based producer Cooper Saver takes on remix duties of 'Jecht Shot'. Taking the original's breaks into a more hypnotic cut, it resonates particularly with Cox.
“Really happy to be back on the label with something a wee bit different," she explains. "I'm even happier to have one of the best about - the ridiculously talented Cooper Saver - on board too!”
