Marc Romboy & Stephan Bodzin (Adriatique Remix)
Adriatique remix an absolute classic
Everything that's come from the visionary minds of Stephan Bodzin and Marc Romboy has been absolutely brilliant. The German powerhouses are some of the most highly-regarded names in techno and their careers respectively have been nothing short of genre-conquering.
When they come together though, that's when the sparks really fly. They're just as well known for their joint efforts as they are their solo offerings and one of their most famous tracks to date is the rolling behemoth 'Atlas'.
Released back in 2006, the classic track has reached its ten year anniversary and what better way to celebrate than with some shiny new remixes? From one duo another, Swiss pair Adriatique have swapped DIYmanic for devilish with their new re-imagining.
They've taken the techno bruiser and turned into a twinkly builder, one that keeps intact all of the components that make the original so good. The colossal main riff is still there, creating a nice amount of dread while tones flutter innocently in the background.
It's got that deep, mystical Adriatique vibe and it's a great way to celebrate a track as big as 'Atlas'.
*Adriatique**'s remix of 'Atlas' will be released on June 17 via Systematic*
