Stanton Warriors Alter Ego 90s House Set

We teamed up with Jägermeister to bring you this unique mix series

Once DJs make a name for themselves in a certain type of dance music, it's easy to forget their tastes span way beyond the genre that they are known for.

For our new series, Alter Ego, we decided to give DJs the opportunity to express the side of their musicality that you rarely hear: their Alter Ego.

To do this we teamed up with Jägermeister to take a select few DJs to the top of The Orbit, one of London's most unique buildings at the Olympic Park with panoramic views of the city.

For the final installment of the series, we welcomed Stanton Warriors. Known for their breakbeat sound, the Warriors first broke through with 2001 compilation 'The Stanton Sessions' and have since created breaks remixes of artists like Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim and Gorillaz.

One half of the duo, Dominic Butler, decided to give us a '90s party' Alter Ego set and included classics like 'Dooms Night' by Azzido Da Bass, MK's 'Burning' and 'Can You Feel It?' by Mr Reds.

Check out the set below and subscribe to Mixmag TV for more Alter Ego sets by DJ Marky, Jackmaster, Skream and High Contrast.
