Spotify playlist: 50 underrated classics for the house heads
As relevant as they were decades ago
Continuing to shine a light on underrated dance music from the past, this week’s update to Mixmag’s Overlooked Classics playlist features gems from the early days of house.
Leading off with an acid excursion from Tommy Largo, the new additions take a turn to more soulful territory with heat from Inland Knights before the ultimate Johnick throwback, which uses an iconic sample, supplies a welcomed dose of nostalgia.
Also found on this recent update are tracks by D’julz, Matthew Herbert, Chus & Ceballos and much more, but don't sleep on previously added tracks from the likes of Mark Farina, Sven Väth, DJ Rasoul and Mr. G, among others.
