Spotify playlist: 50 disco obscurities that’ll turn heads

We’ve updated our Disco Rarities playlist on Spotify with a fresh batch of new tunes.

With an incoming repress of Al Kent’s Best Of Disco Demands compilation that’s provided us with so many goodies over the past few months, edits of Legal Defence’s ‘Disco Stomp’, Volstarr’s ‘Dancin’, ‘I Got It’ by The Good Life and ‘Funkathone’ by The People’s Work all make their way into the playlist for a healthy dose of 70s rare four-to-the-floor.

Meanwhile, we go beyond ‘Awake O Zion’ and include Elbernita ‘Twinkie’ Clark’s gorgeous gospel tune ‘Jesus I’ll Never Forget’ and also feature some of Nigeria’s best with Kio Amachree’s ‘Ivory’.
