Spotify launches new video game music channel
Gamers unite, your soundtrack has arrived
Spotify is introducing a new channel dedicated to music inspired by video games.
'Spotify Gaming' will be a full feed of curated content featuring original video game soundtracks and compilations created by fellow Spotify users.
The selects will be designed as the perfect playlist for intense, day-long gaming sessions. Categories like 'Power Gaming' will be full fledged adrenaline, apt for a proper first-person shooter or solid GTA blowout, while the 'Retrowave' list pays respect to old-school 80s synths for the Atari and Sega age.
The new 'Gaming' channel can be accessed on iOS, Android desktop and PlayStation starting today.
