Splice introduces Beat Maker

Build and share your own beats

Cloud-based music making platform Splice has introduced a new program called Beat Maker.

Beat Maker allows users to access, build and share beats with other users through a cloud. The sequencer's display consists of a simple stretch of buttons that can be used to adjust rhythm and swap samples. Beat Maker is also compatible with Splice Sound, a program that gives subscription holders access to samples. Musicians such as Lex Luger and Pegboard Nerds have contributed pre-made beats to the program that can be sequenced and sampled freely as well.

Beat Maker can be tried out for free here.
