Soul Clap announce new single ‘Shine (This Is It)’ and tour
The track is from the duo’s second album coming out on Crew Love
Soul Clap announced that their new self-titled album is dropping on October 14 and have teased us with a new track called ‘Shine (This Is It)’.
The track is out on August 19 and features vocals from Nona Hendryx formerly of the band Labelle. It also features remixes from Dimitri From Paris and DJ Rocca, aka Erodiscotique.
The LP, which the producers have been working on for four years, was recorded at George Clinton’s studios in Tallahassee and will be preceded with a global tour kicking off on September 30 in the UK.
Charles Levine from the duo said: “The LP digs deep into our funky souls and turns our wildest dreams into sound. If our first album, ‘EFUNK’, was an attempt to create a blueprint using our past inspirations, then “Soul Clap” is the beautiful skyscraper, standing tall as it looks to the future”.
You can hear ‘Shine (This Is It)’ and also check out Soul Clap’s tour dates below.
