Snowbombing is hitting the Canadian slopes next year

The first time the festival takes its skis outside of Europe

Snowbombing has announced its expansion to Canada next year, as well as announcing the dates for its usual Austrian party.

Sun Peaks Resort in British Columbia will be its home from April 6 to 10, 2017 as it makes its first journey outside of Europe. No line-up's been announced yet, but it promises "world-class bands and DJs across a week of unparalleled partying."

The Austrian leg returns to the town of Mayrhofen from April 3 to 8 and is expected to bring in some of the world's biggest names again. This past year's line-up welcomed acts like Jamie Jones, Black Coffee, Anja Schneider and Hot Since 82.

Across the six days, the town will run a series of massive pre and afterparties. Last year's Mixmag party had Bicep, Marcel Dettmann and Henrik Schwarz laying it down.
