Snapped: Rhonda presents Queen of the Desert with Solomun b2b Dixon
The two masters went back-to-back in a desert airplane hangar
Though the pilgrimage is made by thousands out to the deserts of Indio, California for the hallowed Coachella, the party doesn't end once the sun sets on the festival.
This year, in partnership with Goldenvoice, popular Los Angeles promoters Rhonda, Sound and Framework welcomed their Queen of the Desert event with a powerful duo at the helm: Dixon and Solomon, who both played the festival's house and techno-heavy Yuma tent earlier that day.
The party was hosted in an enormous airplane hangar in Palm Springs, a neighboring desert city, and brought together a collection of outfits and people that teetered on the fence of elegant and outright wild and bold. The evening was a gathering of nighttime dwellers ready to get down from Doc Martin's opening set all through the night for the special back-to-back session between the two underground maestros.
